The long-awaited Eric Johnson Stratocaster guitar arose from Johnson’s express wish to give something back to the collectors, players and fans who’ve supported him throughout his career.

Designed by Johnson himself with his own personal features and preferences, this signature model has a highly contoured two-piece alder body with a very thin nitrocellulous lacquer finish. The one-piece quarter-sawn maple neck has a V-shaped profile, 12” fingerboard radius and 21 polished frets. The staggered vintage-style machine heads eliminate the need for a string tree, and the custom pickups are wound to Johnson’s specs. Other features include a parchment ’57-style pickguard, four-spring vintage tremolo, silver-painted block and ’57-style string recess with no paint between the base plate and the block.

From his blistering British Invasion beginnings through his amazingly varied solo career and right up to today, Jeff Beck’s Stratocaster guitar has been an integral part of his signature sound. Now he has a signature Fender instrument.

The Jeff Beck Stratocaster features a soft C-shaped neck and has a contoured heel for easier access to the higher registers. Further, it’s “Wired” with Fender Special Design dual-coil ceramic Noiseless™ pickups and straight-ahead five-way switching.

Fender Jimmie Vaughan Tex-MexTM Strat

The Jimmie Vaughan Tex-Mex Strat guitar “borders” on the sublime, with an alder body, specially shaped tinted maple neck with medium jumbo frets, vintage hardware and single-ply white pickguard. The single-coil Tex-Mex pickups in the neck and middle positions, and extra-hot Tex-Mex pickup with special wiring in the bridge position, stir in tones with just the right amount of southwestern spice and rattlesnake bite.

Grammy winner John Mayer has teamed up with Fender for this must-have signature guitar. Features include an alder body and satin urethane-finish maple neck with a slightly larger C-shape, topped by a buffed headstock with a vintage ’50s decal. The African rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5” radius and Dunlop® 6105 frets.

Other features include three new “Big Dipper” single-coil pickups with a special “scooped” mid-range voicing wound to Mayer’s exacting specs, an American Vintage synchronized tremolo with five tremolo springs (the uninstalled back plate is in the case), Fender/Gotoh® vintage-style tuning keys and a three-ply brown shell pickguard.

The Mark Knopfler Stratocaster guitar is a true “sultan of swing,” with a ’57 Strat ash body and vintage tinted ’62 C-shaped maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan collaborated with Fender to produce a signature Stratocaster guitar shortly before his tragic and untimely death in 1990. The resulting Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster features an early ’60s “oval” neck shape, pao ferro fingerboard with jumbo frets, three Fender Texas Special™ single-coil pickups, gold-plated hardware, inverted left-hand vintage tremolo unit and distinctive “SRV” pickguard.
