It has a thin-finished alder or ash body (depending on color) and lightly-figured C-shaped maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard, 9.5 radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets. Features include three Modern Classic single-coil pickupsincluding the Hot Classic bridge pickup with custom steel inductance plate, Fender Deluxe staggered cast/sealed machine heads, three-ply parchment pickguard, aged white plastic parts, and a Custom Classic two-point synchronized tremolo with milled solid-stainless saddles, solid steel spring block and pop-in arm.

Every feature here has been proven on other models; many have only been offered on the personal instruments of various artists and have never been offered together on one guitaruntil now!
Features include three Samarian Cobalt Noiseless pickups, Custom Classic tremolo, locking tuners and LSR roller nut, a 12-radius satin-finish neck with American Standard frets, a big-peg headstock, a neck access heel that was available only on the Jeff Beck Signature Statocaster, our own Greasebucket tone circuit (eliminates the usual gain loss when using the tone control), and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
These guitars feature our Closet Classic treatmentbuilt as if it was bought new in its respective model year, played maybe a few times per year and then carefully put away. It has a few small dings, a mildly checked finish, lightly oxidized hardware and aged plastic parts.
