To be honest, no my most favoured Fender Strat - not because it is "bad", simply less value for money when you compare it to others in the range. In my opinion the Standard Series and American Series offer better value. For less than £150 more you can get full specification American Series Strat, complete with hardcase! A lot more guitar for not a lot more money.
For most customers I would advise to save your money and go for a Standard Series (or G&L are awesome at this price point with their Tribute models) OR save your money up until you can afford an American Series.
However, for those of you with £500 in your pocket and cannot resist spending it all today on a Fender - The Highway 1 is still a great guitar and certainly fits this price point nicely! If you want me to expand on this, call me on 01926 833389 (ask for Richard).
