Godin LG P90

The hand crafted mahogany neck of the LG sits in a deep pocket in the mahogany body. This crucial connection provides excellent energy transfer between neck and body. Pulling the strings through the body increases resonance even further. In other words, this is one lively guitar. The pickups and bridge are also recessed into the body to achieve a very comfortable position for your right hand.

Inspired by classic, all-mahogany electric guitars, we equipped the LG with two Seymour Duncan SP-90 single coil pickups. The 24¾" scale enhances the LG's bottom end and playability. Blues and Rock players looking for a smooth sounding guitar should check out the LG.

The LG Hmb sports two Godin Humbuckers and a 5-way switch enabling you to not only split the coils in position 2 and 4, but also access both humbuckers simultaneously in the third position. The LG Hmb is comfortable in a variety of musical settings. It can easily produce warm clean tones as well as nasty distorted sounds.

We now produce a humbucker-equipped version of our popular LG guitar! The new LG Hmb keeps the same mahogany neck and body combination that has won so many accolades for the original. The LG Hmb is incredibly responsive thanks in part to the unique neck attachment. By setting the LG Hmb neck in a very tight and extra deep pocket the LG Hmb achieves incredible neck/body energy transfer and the precise neck pitch possible in a bolt-on design. Both the bridge and the new Godin humbucking pickups are recessed into the guitar body to complement the deep neck pocket and enhance comfort. A new 5-way switching configuration helps to make the most of the LG Hmb’s considerable potential. Like all Godin guitars the LG Hmb is assembled in New Hampshire from parts crafted in Canada.

LG Signature

The Godin LGX-SA has enjoyed tremendous success and there is no doubt that the acoustic bridge and synth access have contributed to the LGX-SA’s popularity. However, there is also no doubt that if it wasn’t—first and foremost—a great guitar then the extra bells and whistles wouldn’t matter. With that in mind—along with countless requests from guitar players—Godin has launched the LG Signature. Essentially an LGX minus the ‘X’, the LG Signature features a mahogany neck that is generous in girth but retains the comfort of a smaller neck thanks to Godin’s ergocut shaping technique. The use of a 25.5” scale in a mahogany guitar produces a best-of-both-worlds kind of combination. A new 5-way switching configuration and a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers helps to make the most of the LG Signature’s considerable potential. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Godin Signature Series guitar if it didn’t boast the stunning good looks of a carved flame maple top.
