Regent Guitars - Our History

Set up as an independant guitar specialist & private teacing facility in 1995 with a £6000 inheritance.

We were the first shop in the UK to sell a guitar online (I know others brag this but we can prove it I assure you!) & have used the Internet since its creation to help raise awareness of our service ethic and the quality of the instruments we sell.

Over the years we have worked closely with the BBC on a number of occasions and have been commended in "You" magzine by Darius of all people!

Voted as #1 site you must not miss by Total Guitar Magazine in 2004.

In our 12 years trading we have become the largest independant dealer in the products that I love such as Godin, Tanglewood, Cort, Vintage, Stonebridge and others.

Due to our massive online profile and hard earnt reputation we buy at the very best prices and can pass on considerable savings via our online catalogue. In fact we aim not to be beaten on price OR service online.

To this day, despite our major online mail order operation our in store service operates like the day I first began. Everything in store is personally recommended - NOTHIING goes on display that falls short of my high standards and every guitar sold is set up to our Premier Service specification.
