Working with the BBC
In August 2002 we were approached by the BBC to distribute guitars to "Fame Academy Bursary Award Winners".
It was a great privilege to work with the BBC. I ensured that every award winner got personal advice on the appropriate product to suit their needs and each guitar was meticulously set up (in other words to our normal high standards!).
If you saw the program "Fame Academy - The Legacy", you would have seen Alex Parks (Fame Academy winner) surprising one of the bursary winners on the stage of Top of the Pops with an Ibanez K7, supplied and hand finished by Guitars.co.uk.
Early in 2005 we received another call from the BBC! This time they required our head technicians assistance offering some repair advice on a bass guitar for the program "Accidents do happen". This was aired in June 2005.
However, this wasn't the first time that Regent Guitars received high profile media coverage. In 2003 "You" magazine published an article where Darius quoted Regent Guitars as his favorite website!
Thanks must therefore go to the BBC for recognising Regent Guitars as the specialists we are, Darius for his wonderfully blatant plug and all those who recommended us to the BBC.
Thank you - thank you! | |
