. Guitars.co.uk is our online trading name for Regent Guitars - regarded as a highly trusted guitar specialist in the UK.

We were the first guitar retailer to provide online sales back in 1999. We offer a unique level of quality control and post sale backup which has earnt us high praise and featuring in Total Guitar magazine, the BBC and You magazine.







































Back orders

In the event of a product being out of stock in our warehouse, we will contact the UK supplier. If it is available we will order it immediately on your behalf - for 99% of our suppliers this will only add an extra 2-3 days to the order time.

If the product is out of stock with our supplier too, we will inform you of this fact. At this stage you may decide to cancel your order or wait for it. All events can be tracked from your personal online tracking web page which is updated in real time as events unfold. You will also have access to your personal online tracking manager by phone & email.










































Credit card security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. The software is provided by Actinic - the UKs premier catalogue software provider.














































Delivery schedule

UK NON Guitar items Please allow up to 3 working days.

If in stock the goods will be sent on a next day delivery.

UK GUITAR orders As above plus around 48 hours for quality control and setup procedures on Premier Service guitar orders.

In the event of your guitar being "rejected" during this process, we will replace the insturment and contact you regarding the small delay. We will also prioritise your guitar to ensure minimum delays occur from that point.

European Delivery Times As above PLUS... 2 Days - Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands 3 Days - Austria, Denmark, Switzerland* 3-4 Days -Czech Republic*, Italy, Slovakia, Spain










































Guarantee

All items are fully gauranteed for 12 months from purchase date. Any guitar sold with Premier Service will be set up before sale and we will gaurantee the playability of the instrument for 12 months. All premier service guitars sold can be checked over at 6 months and 12 months from sale - simply return the guitar and we will do the rest!

We do not accept responsibility in the case of guitars being mis-treated or adjusted by the owner of the instrument. If you are not entirely satisfied with a delivered product, please notify us immediately and we will arrange to collect for a replacement or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Our reputation is based on our honest approach which I can personally assure you goes well beyond your "statutory rights".









































Making a purchase

A purchase can be made by phone, in store or online (All card details are securely encrypted using Industry leading catalogue software - Actinic). We take all known cards but cannot accept ELECTRON online (only in store).

Online orders are handled by our Order Tracking Manager Warren. To place an order by phone call 01926 833389 or order securely online.

Telephone orders can be placed from around 10am - 6pm Monday to Saturday

Regent Guitars do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.

Returns policy

All deliveries are covered by your statutary right for a refund if you contact us within 7 days of delivery.

If a fault occurs within your warranty period, please contact us so we can arrange the most appropriate cause of action which may include a direct replacement or repair of your goods.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and it is our commitment to our customers POST sale that sets us apart from the average online store.

We work hard to ensure that every product we deliver arrives in perfect condition and fit for purpose. Please be aware that the customer is liable for any charges incurred in returning goods to Regent Guitars (faulty or otherwise) over 7 days from purchase.

IF any item is returned for repair in error (IE the goods are found on inspection not to be faulty) we reserve the right to apply a re-delivery charge equal to that of the original delivery charge.

Shipping & handling

When placing your order, simply select the carriage that you feel best describes your primary purchase.

All other items are included in this delivery price.

Please note only ONE charge will be applied, regardless of the quantities of each product type ordered. EG If you order 2 guitars, an effects pedal and an amp, you would be charged £10 (the delivery cost of the main item).

If you select the wrong delivery type we reserve the right to ammend this on your behalf. Accessory Mail UK *£2.99 covers ALL accessory items ordered. * With the exception of hardcases which are charged at our Effects Mail rate of £6.99. Effects Mail UK £6.99 - covers all effects and any other accesssories ordered. GUITAR Mail UK (£10) covers all guitars ordered PLUS any smaller items included in the order.

Guitars which are purchased using our standard guitar mail service are hand checked to ensure the guitar meets the suppliers specification, checked for cosmetic flaws and then tuned to pitch.

Orders received prior to 1.00pm would normally be despatched the same day for the following working day.

ALL GUITARS are packaged using an internal wrap, then an "inner carton" which is protected by a specially made and strengthened outer carton, (specifically designed to ensure our guitars are delivered safely).

Amplifier Mail UK £10 - covers all amps ordered + any smaller items included in order.

Your guitar delivery can be tracked online throughout the order process using an online tracking system - you will be emailed the details once we have processed your order. Delivery times can vary depeding on stock availabity but we aim to hand finish and deliver "Premier Service" guitars which are in stock within 7 days of your initial order. (The hand finishing and QC procedures are the only delay - however it is this that sets us apart from our competitors so we hope you can be patient!).

Please note that if you choose the wrong carriage type at the checkout stage we reserve the right to correct the invoice value without notice. (In other words, NO you cannot order a guitar for £2.99 accessory mail - even if you select it!)

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PREMIER SERVICE When we undertake a premier service on an instrument we do so on the basis that the guitar is now YOURS. Rarely (but it happens) a customer will cancel an order when/if we REJECT the guitar when it falls below our qualty control standards. Please not that 10-15% of guitars that are checked DO fail quality control - this is due to the nature of mass produced guitars - made to a cost in the far east. When you purchase an instrument with Premier Service you must do so with the understanding that it MAY be rejected and there MAY be a delay caused. The full premier service charge will be applied - regardless of whether the instrument passes or fails our quality control. In normal circumstances we would then carry out a second (or third - whatever it takes) FREE of charge but will have to charge you for all work carried out IF you cancel the order following any setup.










































Tax charges


For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .
