Its not flash, its not active, the EQ is crap and the fret ands are a little sharp - problem is that I just cant put the damned thing down!

I have tried LOADS of Jazz basses and they have all left me wondering what the commotion is all about. IMHO, 99% of them have no acoustic tone - the first thing I look for in any guitar. I have tried custom Shop, artist models, Deluxes and USA standards and not one has made me want to part with my wad... until I picked up this cheapy jo Mexican Standard Jazz in Arctic white with a rosewood neck. DAMN!!! this is one of the funkiest little basses I have ever played. It has tone!!! There where two or three in the shop from the same batch as the one I bought and they all sounded horrible - this one just stood out like a sore thumb. Any grumbles? Not for what it cost me no... I will probably get the frets dressed but other than that this is a fantastic and quite sexy looking bass that I will be more than happy to chuck in the back of the car and take gigging. And for once I wont have to worry about batteries or dinging it when I take it out to play!

Great little bass - faith in Fender basses restored! Here she is...
