Surely his list of equipment should just read: Jeff Beck.

He used Les Pauls a lot more than some think. Certainly live with the Yardbirds, then on most of Truth, Beck-Ola etc up to Wired, and on Beck Bogert and Appice.
He also used a Gretsch DuoJet on the Crazy legs album.
For amps he also used Marshall 100W stacks with the Jeff Beck Group. Recently (the last 10 years or so) he has been using Marshall DSL 50 amps.
Mind you he could play a £50 guitar through a £25 amp and still sound fantastic.

I'm going to see the man himself play in a couple of weeks - can't wait! Really only got into his material just recently, after watching the Ronnie Scotts gig he played. Jeff's really turned me back on to playing my electric guitar.
Any other artists I should check out along similar lines?

I first saw Jeff live with the Yardbirds in 1965 at the old Coventry Theatre, and it changed my life. I'd never heard sounds like that come out of a guitar and amp. I met him when my band played support to the Jeff Beck Group (with Rod Stewart), and I've seen him play a number of times since and he's never less than gob-smacking. Roll on next Thursday when I'll be seeing 'The Guvnor' again at Birmingham Symphony Hall!

That's great that you played support for Jeff Beck! I'm seeing him in Manchester and I cannot wait.
What other guitarist do you listen to like Jeff Beck - if its at all possible to be anything like him?
