Nobody's put Jimi in yet? Too obvious?
Fender Strats (several, some modified...), all strung left-handed with the nut reversed.
Gibson SG - 3 pickups, gold hardware, white.

Gibson Flying V - Black, with Jimi's own painted decoration.

(the Gibsons were often used live for his blues songs)
In his early days (while playing in backing bands for various R&B artists), Jimi also played various Jazzmasters, Mustangs etc. This from 1965:

Apparently Clapton bought Hendrix a left-handed Strat but didn't get the chance to give it to him before he died. Can't imagine Hendrix playing a leftie... would look all wrong!

I've heard those stories a few times, but I'm also fairly sure that he had a few lefties, he just didn't play them much!

because he played an upside down right handed strat it mean't that the temelo arm was on the top and allowed him to do certain things better aparently. Stevie Ray Vaughan put a left handed bridge/tremelo on his strats for the same reason

Converting a right-handed strat for left-handed playing (or vice versa) affects lots of factors:
Pickup placement - the polepieces on some strats are staggered to fine-tune the volume each string produces, and will be "wrong" if the strings are in reverse order. The angle of the bridge pickup was supposed to accentuate the treble on the upper (lightest) strings, so a "hendrix" strat should have mellower treble string sounds and sharper bass string sounds.
String tension - the in-line tuners should produce higher tension on the lowest strings and lower tension on the higher ones, but this will be reversed if you string lefthanded.
Tremolo operation - the design of the unit and the position of the lever in relation to the strings means that it doesn't alter the pitch equally across the strings, so reversing it means that the tremolo behaves differently (I can't say I know exactly the difference it makes)
Of course upper fret access is more difficult with the guitar upside down, and Leo Fender's useful design to put all the controls in easy reach while the guitar's in the playing position is pretty much useless, as now it all sits under your forearm.
