I didn't really have hte cash to buy an amp, but one of the online sellers had these up with a misprice, so I had to go for it and got it for a song. They have since corrected the price.
It's a whole new world for me, an amp which models the sounds of other amps at the flick of a switch, to me it sounds absolutely stunning with the range of different sounds it can make.
As a still learning guitarist it's wonderful for practice, because I find myself trying each scale and riff on each sound setting. 22 amp models and 11 effects, that's a lot of choice.
I'm not sure it would be much use for a live gigging musician, altough it might be some use to a covers band in a small venue, but for messing about for fun at home, I couldn't imagine using anything else. It must be the best single gadget toy I ever purchased in my life.
