Joan Amatrading is using a HSS strat-style guitar on the 'Into the Blues' album and it sounds absolutely amazing.
The headstock is a bit like the Cort/Yamaha/Vigier shape (but it's none of them) & the logo looks like a letter 'A' - anyone know what it is????

I haven't seen the video but by your description it may be a Tom Anderson Classic - perhaps the hollow drop top, which looks very much like an HSS Strat.

They are beautiful guitars, but expensive!

Yay, that's the one!! Never heard of them before but I must say they look (and sound) the business.
