Hi there. I'm looking to spend around £400 + on a left handed hollow body electric. Ideally I wanted a Casino but I cannot find one anywhere, so I was wondering if you could all recommend some lefty hollow bodies around this price please?! I know the ES Dot is readily available, but I'm not sure about the quality of this...I have also seen Tanglewood ones online for about £400, but no shops near me have one for me to try out - any opinions would be great thanks!

Hello there,

I used to own a Dot, thought it was a great guitar. I couldn't fault anything about it...unfortunately finances meant it had to go.

May go and give one a shot on the weekend. Another one I'm curious about is the Epiphone Broadway - can you even get this left handed?

Have a ganders at GAK (google it). Personally I'm not too sure I'd ever purchase from them, but they seem to have every guitar on the planet listed. I use their site for referencing what's available.

I've a sneaking feeling that Vintage do some 335-a-likes in their range. That might be another route to check as is this Hollow LP
Les Paul style semi acoustic, mahogany with either burl or flame maple top - Bigsby style vibrato, dual humbuckers, split block inlays.
That's from Tim Ellis who knocks together some nice guitars at bargain prices.
