Well in celebration of knowing 8 chords and being able to do the intro to 2 tunes to the point that they are almost recognisable!! I've just bought another guitar off e-bay to go with my previous buy of a Fenandes Monterey.

I seriously need to stop looking at guitars I'm so weak :o)

Anyway here it is

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280452782944&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Paid £700ish for it seems like an ok price to me, but what do I know! anyway its paid for now.

Right what's next!!

If it's all legit and as plays as good as it looks, you've picked up a bargain and are in for a treat!

It’s a G&L Legacy in sunburst with a Birdseye Maple neck and fretboard, these are some of the e-bay images I’ll post some others once it has arrived safely.

G&L make fantastic gutars! I have been lusting after a "Bluesboy" model for some time but finance as always is a problem.
It's like a Tele with a humbucker at the neck. I'm drooling at the thought!

Beautiful guitar. Welcome to the G&L club!

I didn't play any of my other guitars for at least three months after I got my S-500!

Not the G&L bargain of the century (I've heard of people picking them up used for under £500 occasionally...), but considering that if you'd bought one new you'd have had to part with £1200 or so for a basic Legacy, plus a hefty surcharge for the birdseye neck (£200-ish, I think...), I'd say you got it for a good price.

There's a few G&L's going for the £300ish mark if you don't mind the import fees...
