Here is an example of chord changes Im,IVm,V7. and once the rhythm is nice and steady, you can try to improvise a melody over the chords, as I did using G major scale for Em chord (eolian) and G major for Am (dorian) and chains of b3 from C for the chord B7 (C is the b2 of the V7) etc.
