Gutted I didn't get a take in on time. I sat down and recorded a couple takes Thursday night, with the intention of refining a solo/bassline bits on Friday morning. As it turns out, after I finished I reached under my bed to find my IEMs and promptly put my shoulder out of it's socket, and thus spent the next 15 hours in Hospital getting that sorted. Not gunna be able to play comfortably for a few days yet. Will definitely contribute to the next one.

Track sounds very good, some nice solos in there.

^ that's got to be the worst excuse for not taking part in a forum jam I've ever heard. Just admit it, you think you're rubbish and you don't want us to hear you play!

Joking! Hope you're back up to playing again soon.

^LOL

Nice liked it, well done all and thanks to Bob Gnarly for coming up with the backing and mixing it.
One thing I did notice though was when i first listed to my bit I thought I was a guitar god! but the more times I listened the worse I get \:\(

Know what you mean B_D. I tried to rerecord my bit as I'd jammed it whilst a bit pissed and when I listened to it the next day it sounded a bit sloppy, but when I redid it it was too perfect and lacked the feeling in the original, so I left it as is.
I must have listened to the track a fair few times whilst doing it, sometimes I thought it sounded cool, others, a bit ****.
Happy with the sound though. Recorded this one on my Blackstar S1 100 head cranked. \:\)

Thanks Bob, I needed someone else to agree \:\)

Your tone was much better than mine \:\( im hoping some of that was down to my crappy mic recording method (insert "can we have a rolling eyes smiley option please?).

How did you record yours?

Just managed to listen to see. Saw the post earlier but couldn't download and listen to it at work!

Really excellent stuff all round, great job everyone, I love it.

Used the direct out of my Blackstar Series One 100Watt head, straight into my mac, It has on board speaker emulation. As the sound is coming out the cab as well, you can get stuck in for a bit of feedback.

Ok, direct line into the mac,

I need to get me a mac, how much can I get one for that will enable me to record, second hand is good enough for me a the moment.
