Ok, ive ordered a Korg chromatic tuner with the intent of setting up my own guitars. Im quite happy with all that but I also want to set up a guitar that has E flat tuning and heavy gauge strings is there any diffence over say setting up a standard strat for 10s?

No, the process should be pretty much the same. If you're changing string gauges or tensions you'll need to make adjustments to intonation, action, trem springs etc, but nothing out of the ordinary.
