Be Nice (I'm New!)

Hi guys

I have inherited this Aria Pro II from my brother and was wondering if anyone can help identify the model, vintage and rough value of it as I know absolutely nothing about guitars. What I do know is that it cost £300 including the case in the mid-to-late '80s, but can't remember now whether it was new or used. Having had a quick mess around on it, it is a surprisingly nice play, much smoother than my Epiphones. The only things that seem to help identifying it are a serial number - 5063510 - stamped on the back of the head, and a 'Made In Japan' sticker underneath. Googling 'Aria Pro II 5063510' has done me no good at all, so any help from the experts would be very much appreciated!

Here are some pictures of it:

Cheers!

I don't know very much abut Arias, but it looks like it's a 1985 guitar, based on the info here: http://www.matsumoku.org/models/serial_no.html

As for the exact model and value, I'm afraid I have no idea!

Looks along the lines of a LS600 or similar. Very nice guitars, production started after they got told off for making Gibson and Fender copies (some believe they were actually better than the originals)

And an under rated guitar which guitarists havnt picked up on yet, so price wise not as much as it should be, but I believe its a keeper anyway and not to be sold yet. In a few years time it may get the recognition it deserves and be up there with Tokais' etc. A rough guess £200 ish at the moment but should be more like £400.
