Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes

(Yes I think their version of the song is better than The Who)

Who would have expected David Byrne and Brian Eno to get together and make a disco-ish pop song!

Bit of a non-guitar moment:

Widely hailed as the best DJ mix album ever made, if that doesn't sound like damning it with faint praise...

I remember hearing this way back as an impressionable early-teenager, and it blew me away. I love this sort of random cut 'n' paste DJ stuff- beats the hell out of most dance music mixes.

Inspired by the recent programmes on BBC4 about Steve Winwood is a blast from the past and a reminder of better times and smaller trousers...

I've just listened to "John Barleycorn must die" for the first ever time. Enjoyed it, but not enough to pay for it. But, I'm particularly enjoying the track "Empty Pages".

I like Chris LeDoux's version of Springsteen's "Tougher than the rest". I love the guitar riff. Not my favourite country artist by any stretch of the imagination but I love the track.
