I go through phases of listening to a single artist/band, buying their back catalogue and then moving on to another! At the moment, I am going through yet another Pink Floyd & Ultravox phase but I also like Keane and I have gone back to French artist Jean-Jacques Goldman (poor lyrics but good tunes and lots of guitars - check out his 1987 track "Peur de Rien Blues" on Spotify).

If you like song-driven, heartfelt country-blues i urge you to give him a listen.
Not bad at all. I like "Waiting for the storm" in particular.

Monday is my podcast day. First off:

Next, the Soft Rock Classics Show (should really be the hard rock classics show- no Bonnie Tyler here!)- DJ is married to an old friend of my wife.

Website seems to be down right now, but you can access the podcast through the blog:

Pretty good listening for anyone who misses the late Alan Freeman
Yikes. Faces for radio or what?

Not in the slightest. Racialism is having a prejudiced view about the superiority of your own race; the Bruce Springsteen cover is just a picture of the band. The rather poor design of the photo, especially the lettering, makes it difficult to see Clarence that's all.
Today I'm in the mood for something mellow so it's The Animal Liberation Orchestra. In a minute I'm going to liberate a couple of rashers of bacon from the fridge...
