Its a gd post especially anyone wondering about the different types of woods made for the acoustic guitar
and their respective tones

Only thing ill say is the wild cedar on my guitars back/sides and top is more a reddish colour to it than what it looks like on the chart..but ye post \:\)

I really like the Takamine EG440SC it's 6 String, Electro Acoustic guitar, using the TP4T Preamp. It has a balanced tone, warm sound and comfortable size. This guitar features a Solid Spruce top with mahogany back and sides in a NEX C/A (cutaway) body shape, a rosewood fingerboard with Abalone dot inlays, an Abalone inlay Rosette and Gold tuners.

Also it really depends in which way a person plays a guitar Be it strumming

or a Picker or flat-Picker as to what he / she say prefers as to how they like their guitar/s wood/s to be made from..

Personally i prefer with being a strummer the more booomier sound of my Yamahas Spruce top with Rosewood
back / sides ..The Cedar top gives the more-so a mellower sound better for a picker i believe..

But all to their own where tone comes into it..as we all know there's so much out there which is different..

Also depending on which music you wanna learn to play of course..

Meantime as a sais a while back its an interesting post where tone-woods are concerned \:\)

how much difference does a bone or horn saddle/pins make? I have tusque saddle and pins, and i read somnewhere else that they are better if you plug in a guitar as it gives a more even density
