...and that cry-baby beneficiary of blatant cheating, not for the first time either, has the gall to chuck rattles out of his pram when our guys gain an inadvertent advantage!!!

My only hope is they get disqualified by the World Motorsport committee. It's the only way to set enough of an example to all concerned for the future.

Fingers crossed

I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. After all, the 'team orders' rule was brought in when Barrichello was ordered to give way to Schumi in Austria in 2002 by the then Ferrari boss, who, as it happens, is the current FIA president. The FIA lack the moral fibre to even put a lifetime ban on Briatore.

The FIA has already fined them $100,000 US so Jean Todt can't be deemed to be at all bias!

I'm unsure how the WMSC will react though. Fingers crossed heavily! Saying that if they strip the Ferrari's of their positions it means that Vettel will technically win....that's just as bad \:P

The fine was imposed by race stewards. I suppose it is a moot point as to what extent Jean Todt can or cannot influence their decisions.

Yes, there is that concern that Vetel could be promoted to first place. However, from past incidents (e.g. Singapore 2008) the FIA seems to be more inclined to let results stand and impose punishment in other ways, e.g. points deduction or suspension from a few races. Lets hope that they take this course of action.

All I can say is it's Ferrari, along with Alonso, what do you expect? I'll be Jean Todt must be livid, I'm guessing he's pretty much a Ferrari man through and through, but they just keep digging holes for themselves and if he is seen to be easy on them then he is screwed. Team orders do happen, and Smedley and Massa clearly did the right thing be exposing it. If Alonso was quicker, then he didn't need is team mate to slow down, he could have overtaken him easily. It'll be interesting to see what the WMSC has to say, can't think that they'll act too lightly about it.
In other news, Ant Davidson tweeted yesterday about Yamamoto, his race stopped because he pulled the Fire kill switch instead of the break balance. I'll bet Chandhok must be so pissed off about that considering they could have had another 2 car finish if Yamamoto wasn't such a numpty!

It states on the F1 website that " Ferrari have been fined US$100,000 by the FIA after race stewards deemed they had breached sporting regulations"
