Definitely not offended. I didn't *like* it, but I don't see why people couldn't do that sort of thing if they wanted to.

Personally, I'd probably listen through and pick some licks to learn and use myself, but like you say, anything that gets people engaged is good, and I'll listen to anything people post.

It often takes a while for people to respond to stuff like that because of restrictions on work computers- on mine I can download mp3s no problem, but I can't watch videos, so I can't comment on them (and probably shouldn't, if the curious incident of Richard and the Japanese schoolgirl is anything to go by...) until I get home.

Well, here's my rather basic backing track. I'm happy for anybody to send me their contributions (mp3 please) at gilles[at]gillescoudert[dot]com

Right-click here and save the file.

I changed the drum sounds, added a 1-bar count in and a cymbal at the start of the 16 bars. For continuity purposes, the track loops round then fades out.

BPM=85. Chord sequence:

Em Em Am Am Em Em Am Am
Bm Bm C D Em Am/Bm Em Em

Rubbish. That's an entirely original bit of guitar playing, that is. ;\)

As I was working out what I wanted to play it all came out sounding quite Allmans-y, so I thought I'd go the whole hog

Probably should start a new thread or people might not know it's going on!
