100 watts, 540 euros. And its got good reviews. Can it be this good? Anyone got any experience of these amps? A comparable marshall/messa boogie isa around 1400 euros.

Not quite sure about this. The average selling price for this in the UK is £549, roundabout the same price of most other Marshall type things.
Messa Boogie do tend to be much dearer but I have to say I'm a Marshall man and there's lots to be had for your dosh.

Have three amps I use...Fender deluxe 90...Rotten thing had it 6/7 years of which last 2 needed constant repair so workable life of that 4/5 years.
Marshall 250 had similar time but was used when I bought it...Absolutely cracking amplifier.
Peavey Scorpion 200 bass amp....The peavey cost me £200 second hand in 1999...Must have been a few years old then...That amp has been subjected to the most hideous abuse you can imagine and it is still very much working and still very much abused...Absolutely wonderful bit of kit.On that alone can give Peavey amplifiers a hearty recommendation.

CHeck out Throman. Their prices are good. On Ebay you can get these for £350, around 380 euros. THey are cheap.

Hey thanks. Thats a good recomendation. Reminds me of my 100W 1970s Carslbro. I have never looked after it, and have had it for 15 years. Its a loud --ooops naughty word--, but a biot lacking in tone. I have played gigs in the open air to 200 people with it, and no PA (because it packed up) but just crank up the old Crlsbro and it goes as loid as you want it to. I am fond of the old beast, but its time for sme quality.

I also believe Peaveys come with a long (5 year I read) waranty.

Gotta say, I am getting convinced! \:\)
