You will wet yourself (not literally!) They are phenomenal live- this'll be my 3rd time. I'm very, VERY excited. And going to Ed's in Soho for lunch beforehand- bit of a London-gig tradition \:\)

Went to Lowestoft for the weekend and couldn't get online with the laptop. Came home last evening to find nothing much different from when I went away last week.

Here as odd thing. I went via m3 - M25 - A12. Took 8 hours in total with a 45 minute tea stop.

Came home via Bedford and Oxford in seven and a half hours with an hour and a half off for a long lunch. Same mileage and hour and a half difference. August M25 car park syndrome eh what?.
(I live in Bournemouth)

Were you there for the airshow? It's meant to be very good?

'tis a journey I complete often as my mum lives in Caister (just outside Gt Yarmouth). If the going's good I take the A41 (I live near Leighton Buzzard), M25, M11, A11, A14, A11, A47. The 140 miles took me 2 hrs 15 minutes. It isn't so fun from work though (Egham)...it takes a little longer in rush hour. Recently my commute home has been circa 2 hrs to complete the 35 mile journey.

Oxford-Bedford-Cambridge is the best cross country route by far. I've done Ox-Norwich lots and can do it in 2:30 now they're sorted out a couple of extra bypasses \:\)

not really been on holiday, more like been cooped up in hospital for the last two weeks. I collapsed on august 5th and was taken to A&E, they said pneumonia to begin with, then after more investigations it just kept getting more complicated.
Long story short, I had a ruptured lung from a fairly large hematoma at the base of my right lung. They started with anti-biotics, that seemed to work for a fair bit, and then had a turn for the worse, and got taken to Stoke for them to sort it out. They drained 3.5 litres of blood off my lung, and am gradually getting better now.
Came out of hospital last night, and am on a fairly slow road to recovery. It'll be a while before my side is strong enough for me to pick up my bass, which kinda sucks, but at least I'm alive.
Hope everyone else has been having a better time. I'll keep people posted on my progress, hopefully all will be ok now.

Blimey that's not good! Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery; better to recover and have to take a break than not recover at all! I've a clotting disorder and have suffered multiple DVT's and Pulmonary Embolisms (clots in the pulmonary artery and lungs). 'tisn't the best of experiences. Good luck on the rest of your road to recovery.
