All looking good!

Have you started looked at prams/pushchairs/car seats yet? All that stuff's got a great 'gadget factor' these days so fun for the Dad to be!

When it's time to start buying stuff check out kiddicare.com, sort of the amazon for the baby world (and much cheaper on everything than Mothercare). Best delivery service I've had for online shopping (great text message service to let you know when the delivery is due, with an hour time window, and options to redeliver over the next couple of days).

Hope all goes well!

Col

Hi Col,

Mrs N's a bit of a worrier so we have absolutely everything!...and possibly a bit more. I think she used Babies 'r' Us...part of Toys 'R' Us as they had a 50% sale on.

All getting proper exciting now.

great pics! what kind of car have you got? the logistics of taking a baby around - despite its remarkably small size - is a bit like the needs of an invading army! \:\)

^ yeah, when we found out we had a baby on the way we part-ex'd our old Yaris for a trusty old Ford Focus. Four doors instead of two, cavernous boot, sensible handling, good safety specs...

...Mrs Bob took some persuading that we wouldn't be able to accommodate a baby and a ton of baby crap in a two door hatchback with a boot so small it must be some sort of ironic joke, but I managed it.

Oh, and a little nearer the time, the NCT Childbirth course is highly recommended. Very informative, and a good laugh.

Mrs N. has a Freelander so no problems there! Unfortunately for me I bought an old (thankfully) Audi A4....salooon. I've got a feeling that'll be another part of my car history in a few months time as I'll be hunting down a suitable estate car \:\)

Cheers EB...just looked them up and there're some taking place just a mile up the road from home. Just shot an email off to Mrs N. to see what she thiks.

+1 for the NCT courses, well worth it.

We still meet up regularly with the other couples from our course (all the babies are approaching 2 now).

Gives you a really great support network of people going through the same things at roughly the same time.

We're considering a sequel to our little rock star, so this thread is getting me all broody!

Hehe, I've (well .. the missus really) just churned out my 4th one of those in the vain hope of getting one who's interested in guitars :-)

The older 2 do a pretty good Jimi Hendrix as they can smash the half size guitar I bought for them into my amps quite well, but have no interest otherwise, and also have my singing talent :0(
