Oh yeah, and my little rock star is going on for eight weeks old

Joseph John Russell, born 09/10/10 (John Lennon's birthday...), 8lb 6oz, 2 weeks late but decided to make his entrance the old fashioned way mere hours before the medical profession were due to start taking matters in to their own hands

Hardly had a chance to pick up a guitar since then \:\( but wouldn't change a thing.

Congrats to both, fantastic news. If you manage to pick up the guitar for more than an hour or so in the first 3 months you'll be doing well! Babies become a bit less time consuming after that though, I promise, so no need to give up playing just yet - just a hiatus.

^ I'm doing alright then. I've had several opportunities to pick up my guitar. Even had a day off from dad duties to go and buy a new one!

Never entered my mind that I'd stop playing before I got too physically or mentally infirm to do it, and that's a long way off yet.

Just need to get the boy interested in the guitar so I have someone to leave my (by then vintage and hopefully valuable...) gear to...

I've not been near a guitar in two weeks. Sophia joined us at home on Sunday but the house was a building site; had new carpets fitted yesterday so putting things right at the moment.

Fingers crossed I'll be able to kick up with a guitar later on this evening.
