highway_star highway_star Old Timer Registered: 04/11/04 Posts: 1264 Loc: west lothian, scotland	On Sunday mornings I drag my carcass in to a spin class at the local gym. The music isnt exactly to my taste - typical club/techno dance stuff to get you motivated ( ). Anyhoo, the last couple of weeks I have found it very difficult to come to terms with one track that gets belted out - a dance floor version of 'Comfortably Numb' complete with thumping bass/drum and a high pitched vocal. Horrendous.

Scrooge Scrooge Old Timer Registered: 30/11/02 Posts: 1259 Loc: Aberdeen	One of my friends once told me that the way its going, in the best cover versions today the only real difference between them and the original version is a more accentuated bass drum and a more defined hi hat. He had a good point. _________________________ I've always prefered natural sounds to the synthetic...and valves grow on trees, dammit!
