Just put a set of Elixir nanoweb strings on my Walden. They look great, nice and shiney...but not too sure i like the sound they are producing, seems a bit bright to me.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Hopefully a bit of wear and tear will help.

Elixir strings do tend to be quite bright in tone. Some love them, some hate them. Personally I'm on the 'love' side.

You'll probably get used to them- if you're used to Phosphor Bronze (usually more copper coloured than the gold elixirs) then it's quite a big change

yes, normally on phosphor, getting slightly more sue to the sound, still not convinced though.

Thanks for reply.
