I just went to the effort of posting this elsewhere, so apols for anyone reading it for the second time!)

A lovely man from Citylink just came to the door to get my autograph. He left something behind, the silly sausage. ;\)

It's a box. A big box....

Let's have a look inside. It's got more boxes in it! And some foam!!!! \:D

What's this? A musical instrument case? Who could that be for?

It looks like a Cello. Or maybe a very large violalalala

Let's have a look inside the case. It's got frets. It can't be a vol-au-vent after all

It's red, and has holes in it!

and knobs of shiny gold!

And what's this? Manly pickups?

Let's have a proper picture ;\)

Jackpot!

Now then, enough of this silliness. Full props to JamieH and ChrisfromHartnolls - this is a wonderful guitar and worth every second of waiting. The Kinsman case looks marvellous, with plusher feeling lining than my usual Hiscoxes.

Haven't plugged it in yet but it plays beautifully and sounds brilliant acoustically. I absolutely love it. Next stop; Bigsbytown and Locking-Grover-County via Handwoundpickup Avenue...

And it's red! I've never had a red one before \:D

Time for one more pic I think...

Looks great. Happy new guitar day.

Have you manage to plug it in yet (after creating the multiple photo gallerys, twitter announcement, shouting from the roof tops...)

I don't believe you're working from home; I think you're working at home. ;\)

What a lovely looking guitar.

I expect what you were doing was "working", no supposed about it.

Just plugged it in properly for the first time. It'll want new pickups in time as I'd like a bit more clarity and top end but it's really lovely :-)
