Hi everyone, i am looking for a bit of information on Axeman Guitars, i wonder if anyone has heard of them. I did a google and i have found their address, which is in the US, but i can not find a web page for them
I have just bought an Axeman electro acoustic guitar, from LIDL for £60.00 complete with padded carry bag and i cant believe how good it is for the money.
I bought it, with the intention of trying it out and expected it to be rubbish, in which case i would have taken it back, but it is actually a half decent guitar, particularly so for that kind of money. Its quite easy to play and it has a decent tone as well and it has a three year warranty on it too.
But i can not understand why i cant find a web site for them, has anyone one ever heard of this company?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hilarious...
If you could get a time machine to go back to the 60 and 70s and bought a guitar for less than £10.00 from a high street shop you would be amazed at the rubbish they sold then.
I earned £8.50 a week back in 1972 and a pint of Watney's Starlight was eleven and a half pence for crying out loud. (OK I was 15) I bought a Squier Strat - bullet brand new for £85.00 in 2008 and gig with it no problems whatsoever.
Nowadays even cheap end Guitars are way better than what we ever had on offer. "Strings for straps" anyone...

Same here, I searched for more info and saw a couple of negative posts in forums, but I thought what the hell - paid 70 euros (reduced from 79) and got the last one in my local Lidl this morning - and, like you, I can't believe how good it is for the price. I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and it's my first electro acoustic and I have to say I'm delighted with it!
Their web site is on the instruction sheet: http://www.visionmusic.de. Other than that I've not found out much about them. I'm wondering where they're made.

I got a Clifton one from Lidl a year ago and the tone was not great from it as a present from a relative. It broke and I got the Axman one as a replacement from them under warranty. Look similar but the sound is much better than the old clifton. I'm a very happy camper. Checked online and see that they are made in Washington and sell about 2000 per year. Only going 7 years.

I haven't checked but, I'd be gobsmacked if they're actually manufactured in Washington, US?

Jus looked these up, as I was curious. I'm impressed. Wow the axman supplies 2 bridges, so you have a choice of set ups. The instructions (although badly translated) are the best I've seen for a guitar...really good for a beginner. I guess we just need to see how they stand up over time.

Hi. To those who gave positive reviews of the Axman Guitars ...
Would you play an acoustic gig with them? i.e. are they that good? Or are they just "good for the money"?
(... saw them in LIDL yesterday, and am interested.)
