I'm with Lurcher on Avast. I work in IT and all the techie guys use it and recommended it. The whole family use it and have done for a few years now without any issues.

Avast every time. I've got the upgraded version on my Laptop and use the free version on my home comp. Have done for years.

If you are happy to pay I’d go for Kaspersky – never had a problem with it and been using it for the last 2-3 years.
