buy a small tranny amp to play on at home during the day so you don't have the issue. it won't sound quite as good but it'll maybe be cheaper than stocking up on spare valves.

I've got a Vox AD50VT 212 but prefer the Laney L20t. The difference in sound and performance has pretty much made it redundant tho'.
