well I still don't know how to put the quote into the box as above... Luddite that I am. As for amps, two should be a minimum anyhow.

OJ, I'm sure we've all had our 'luddite' moments.
Just go to the post you want to quote, and click on the 'Quote' button at the bottom of that post. You will then get a posting form with the quote already included. Delete whichever parts are not relevant and leave just the bits you wish to quote. Make sure not to delete the bits in brackets at the beginning and end of the quote. You can then add your own comment after the quote.

you can just type the start quote and end quote HTML codes then copy in what you want to quote - easier if you open another window (tab) on the forum

Well I started with a small transistor combo. Then graduated to a Marshall JCM 100 TSL Half Stack. Always imagined putting greenbacks in the 1960A cab but never got round to it. Sold the head still got the cab. Bought a used Fender Blues Junior with a vintage 30 and I have never looked back! Sounds so clean and sweet.
