Hey guys
ive just bought a new 5 pedal daisy chain adapter.When i plug my pedals into i get a constant loud buzzing ive tried eliminating padels i.e plugging them in seperately but it still does it any ideas very welcome

the psu is a standard one with the changeable heads .Ive got a behringer space chorus a behringer delay a rocktek eq & a zoom 505ii

It might be that the PSU is not properly regulated, or it could be that it's not providing enough power for all pedal at once.

Does it do the same when you only have one pedal in the chain & plugged in? That would imply it's that the PSU is the problem

Yeah cheap standard PSU often not good enough for audio - possibly you overloaded it too when putting all the pedals on it.

It doesnt do it when i plug the zoom 505 on its own.But when i plug the behringers in seperately there is a slight buzz

The 505 unit sucks a lot of processing power even though it is rated at 12v, stomp box pedals run (mostly)at 9v. You may need to use an a/b splitter or similar set up. As a test, you could run the stomp boxes with batteries and hook it all up as you have done, if it still hums beyond an acceptable level you might just need to rethink you set up.

The zoom manual (link above) says use a 300mA adaptor just for the Zoom - so additional loads are going to tax your adaptor.
