I've just watched the Fender Factory tour from the other thread, and stumbled across this which I hadn't seen before. Very interesting. I like how Tom QC's every guitar himself..!

I have had the fortune to play a Tom Anderson, quite simple the best guitar I have ever played, it made my USA strat feel like an Argos guitar.

I'm fortunate enough to own one, and they are extremely special things. It does tend to "colour" almost every subsequent guitar you play though.....!!

What surprised me was how similar Suhr's setup was to Andersons.....!

I really like the look of that operation,Suhr..... it is,as you say, very similar. I guess there's dozens of ways of messing up but only limited ways of getting it right.

I could be wrong, but I think maybe Suhr worked at Anderson before setting up on his own. Or it could very easily be the other way round. If so, that might explain the similar looks - they both have similar design philosophy. Somehow I find the Anderson factory the most impressive though - there just seems to be a really clean, to the point way of thinking there. Plus very impressive how Mr Anderson himself knows everything like the back of his hand. I would truely love to own one of these Guitars one day!
