If so, that might explain the similar looks - they both have similar design philosophy. Somehow I find the Anderson factory the most impressive though - there just seems to be a really clean, to the point way of thinking there. Plus very impressive how Mr Anderson himself knows everything like the back of his hand. I would truely love to own one of these guitars one day!
I was wrong, don't know where I got that idea, but looking at the wiki entries for Tom Anderson and for Suhr, I can find no links at all, so I guess the similarities are entirely coincidental.

Bugger, I've even been on the Tom Anderson website now and nailed down my specs - I want a drop top model, with quilt maple top on chambered mahogony body, tigers-eye burst finish, HSH pickup combination...

As far as I can tell we are looking at around 3 grand, but I figure that if all the forum regulars contribute a few hundred each, I could have the guitar! How about it folks, I promise I'll remember you in my will and stuff...

Go on Andrew, I'll let you play it every other Tuesday... This isn't going to work is it? Perhaps if I contact Mr Anderson about an endorsement deal he might go for that: Carlos Santana, Keith Richards, Steve Vai, some bloke you've never heard of... \:\(
