“Stand out” Cort Electrics

If you are looking to spend up to say £500 on an electric guitar it is hard to imagine why you wouldn’t be checking out at least one Cort guitar from the wide range of electric guitars available.  The key is in finding the right one for you!

Here is a brief summary of Cort Guitars I recommend literally on a daily basis.  If I miss a model, do not presume this means I don’t like it.  I can however only have so many favourites.

Under £300

Starting at the “lower” end.  If you visited me and said you were looking for a guitar under £300 I would be pointing you towards:

Cort X6 RM

Cort X6 RM

Cort G200 RM

Cort G200 RM

M200 Walnut Satin

M200 Walnut Satin

Cort Z42 WR

Cort Z42 WR

For me, these really are the key models under £300.

The X6 is an astonishingly good rock guitar, fitted with floyd rose trem and coil tapped humbcker pickups.  So if you are into your “metal” or instrumental rock, this will be for you.

The G200 comes in at under £200!  But don’t overlook this as a quality Strat style instrument.  It has all the classic tones and the quality is just brilliant all round.  This guitar is a cracker.

The M200 in the Walnut satin looks like a guitar worth twice the price.  Whilst it lacks a coil tap which is a feature found in most of the Cort humbucker equipped models, it makes up for this in pure style and class.

The Z42 does have the coil tap and epitomises Corts attention to detail and style.  This guitar is well balanced and extremely versatile for a twin humbucker guitar – and looks fantastic.
