Used Guitars For Sale At Guitars.co.uk

<img src='http://www.guitars.co.uk/./pictures/listings/th_medium_767_16.png'; align='left'; height='33'>All used guitars for sale at Guitars.co.uk are renewed/revised every 42 days.

This policy ensures that our content at Guitars.co.uk remains up to date and relevant.

Research has shown that most (if not all?) classifieds sites leave adverts up until the user removes them. Because these adverts are normally free the seller rarely removes the advert! The result is a mass of irelevant out of date adverts. This may look impressive on first inspection but wholly frustrating if you actually want to buy a guitar!

By charging just £2 for 45 days advertising or just £1.50 if you buy in "bulk" we eradicate "throw away" adverts and spam based information. The charge also encourages higher quality listings where the seller has put in more thought and consideration to the quality of the content.

Guitars.co.uk is about current, relevant adverts and we are not interested in "bulking" the site out with out of date information.

Guitars.co.uk adverts rank very well indeed on Google search engine and you will often find if you search using the keywords that match your title in your advert that your advert will usually be listed between #1 to #5 on Google!

Hope this helps!

Paulino Bernabe Classical guitar in brand new condition. This guitar was purchased by me in October 2009 when it came brand new to the UK. I played it gently for about 10 weeks before consigning it to its case due to a house move. It has stayed in its case since to preserve its immaculate condition. Prior to buying this guitar I had ordered a custom built guitar from a renowned english luthier. I was to take delivery in July 2012. I bought the Bernabe as a stop gap with the intention of selling it three years down the line. I have since found out that my new guitar will be ready this year and therefore need to sell my Bernabe sooner than anticipated. The good news is that any purchaser is going to get what is effectively a brand new guitar in prisitine condition at a reduced price. This guitar has a beautiful voice and yet there is much more to come as she opens out. Built from spruce top.Indian rosewood back and sides, Honduras cedar neck and ebony fingerboard with a 650mm scale, this is a very desirable instrument. She possesses that indefinable easy action comfortable playability that many guitars in the 2k bracket simply don't have. This guitar was not bought on a whim,I did my homework and tried many instruments before settling for this one. Paulino Bernabe enjoys a resounding reputation that is characterised in this guitar, the sound, playability, workmanship and good looks that one associates with this master luthier. The guitar is accompanied with the hard case. Whether a budding or established student of guitar ,this instrument will delight its new owner and despite my 'new arrival' I will part company with an element of regret.

Gibson Mark 72 (MK 72) - rare and beautiful acoustic guitar

<img src='http://www.guitars.co.uk/./pictures/listings/th_medium_217_16.jpg'; align='left'; height='90'>This is a rare Gibson large-bodied acoustic in beautiful condition.

Only significant mark is a very small surface 'ding' just behind the bridge - see picture. I had a partial refret done (professionally) a couple of years ago and this resulted in a tiny piece of fingerboard being dislodged - couldn't take a successful picture so you can guess how inconspicuous this is, and it has no effect at all on the playing of the instrument. (this is a common problem with glued frets). There are no other issues. The neck is as straight and true as the day I bought it (new, in 1976) and it plays beautifully. This may be bought by a collector, but I hope it will be played as it has a beautiful sound and has been much-admired over the years - not only the sound but the unusual shape has certainly been a talking-point! Very few were made as the big problem Gibson had was quality control - computers and acoustics professors didn't allow for the fact that wood is a 'living thing' and each piece is different. I played three in the shop when I bought it - two were rubbish - this one 'sings'. This explains why guitarists either love or hate them and Gibson stopped producing them. How many survive I don't know but Gibson only produced about 1000 and ceased to make them after 1978. The instrument is complete with the original demountable scratchplate, interchangeable bridge inserts (3) and custom Gibson hard case (gold plated but signs of wear on the exterior and without the original handle which I have replaced with cord). In short, it has everything with it as originally supplied - this is unusual in itself.

What Gibson Say:

A certain aura of mystique surrounds the Gibson Flying V. A guitar well ahead of its time when it was introduced in 1958, the Flying V’s intense magnetic appeal, powerful sound, and unusually familiar shape have made it one of the most instantly recognizable guitars in the world. Legendary Gibson President Ted McCarty was looking to add a futuristic aspect to the company’s image when he introduced the Flying V, and he nailed it. And while some of the greatest guitar players of all-time—including Lonnie Mack and Albert King—immediately embraced the Flying V, it wasn’t until Gibson reintroduced the guitar in 1967 that the rest of the world caught on. Guitar Gods like Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Billy Gibbons, Michael Schenker, and Lenny Kravitz have all succumbed to the Flying V’s fascinating allure.

Paul Reed Smith Dragon model guitars are among the most coveted PRS models ever developed. This special 25th Anniversary Dragon model was developed in celebration of PRS Guitars’ upcoming 25th anniversary. There is a very limited number of these historic models being produced with limited quantities available in the fourth quarter of 2009 and the remainder being completed in 2010. Appointment highlights include 24 frets, 24-1/2” scale length, rosewood neck and fingerboard, carved curly flame maple Private Stock top and African striped mahogany back wood. The body shape and electronics for the 25th Anniversary Dragon are modeled after one of Paul Smith’s early guitars which was most recently featured on the Howard Leese Private Stock guitar released in 2009. The guitar will also feature the superlative 59/09 Treble and Bass pickups and a PRS tremolo

Gibson Firebird V Electric Guitar

<img src='http://www.guitars.co.uk/./pictures/listings/th_medium_474_16.jpg'; align='left'; height='90'>In good condition, no repairs, usual buckle rash on the back and a couple of little dings on the body but nothing out of the ordinary.

The scratch plate has a small split at one of the fixing screws, im guessing it was over tightend at some point.

The serial number indicates that it was made in feb 2004

Comes complete with gibson Hard case, Looking for £1000, Really nice guitar and a really reluctant sale.

Im only selling as i have a dodgy back and find it a little on the heavy side at 9lb 2oz

Would consider a part exchange for a decent SG standard, not in black though, i just dont like black SG's

Custom Shop Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar

<img src='http://www.guitars.co.uk/./pictures/listings/th_medium_376_16.jpg'; align='left'; height='42'>Superb Custom Shop Les Paul Custom in the best colour, cherry sunburst.

This is a stunning condition example of a custom shop made Les Paul and plays as good as it looks.

The bridge pickup has a really aggressive biting edge and solos cut through like a knife.

If the volume is backed of the crunch is like Godzilla eating a crisp factory. The neck pickup has the expected smooth tone tone but still has bite. All in all this is a fabulous example made in the true Gibson tradition (by hand) in the custom shop.
