Designed by renowned British Guitar Builder Martyn Booth while working for Yamaha in the 80s this guitar has every hallmark of an outstanding quality classic rock guitar. Every detail is of the highest quality. Featuring: Ebony Board Solid Flame Maple Cap on Maogany Body Coil Tap Locking Nut Incredibly well designed low profile trem with locking facility to stop the trem pushing down when you dont want to use it! I haven't dated the guitar but I believe it is possibly 25+ years old!!! It looks llike NEW. It has been kept in immaculate condition making this the finest example you could find. Do I need to say more? Grab this one now while its available. I have never had one in my shop in 17 years and I am sure I will never see another - not to mention in this condition.

Lovely sounding acoustic that has matured nicely - I would put this one down as getting on for 10 years old judging by the tone. I would happily recommend this to anyone looking at the lovely Crafters at a similar price. You would have to pay around £600-£800 for anything of this quality when buying new. Spec from Washburn... Washburn added a B-Band tape mic & preamp to this Venetian cutaway version of their best selling jumbo guitar to create the J28SCEDL Cumberland. The B-Band system will give you the closest tone to a miked acoustic guitar you can get on stage. The jumbo maple body with solid spruce top sounds awesome unplugged as well. £15,000. It's not often I get the opportunity to present something of such historic value. On a personal level its a bit of an irony that I, probably Fenders biggest cynic in terms of the hype and marketing that goes into their current range, should get such a chance to promote this iconic piece of Fender history. However, what makes me feel quite so comfortable selling this particular piece of over priced wood is that you are not buying a "guitar", you are buying a piece of history - a symbol of one of the most important times in Rock and Roll History. What makes this guitar quite so special is that this moment in time you are buying into is so beautifully illustrated in the photograph that accompanies the guitar. This guitar has been owned from new by the same chap who brought the guitar in for me to sell and it is he who is shown in the photograph at the bottom of the page. When you look at the wear in this guitar it just makes you want to imagine the pubs and clubs this instrument has performed at over its 50 year stretch. The owner of the guitar was counting out the stories of who his band has played with and the famous players it has rubbed shoulders with - and you know what, I was totally enthrawled by it all. This guitar does put a smile to my face when I think of the modern Fender custom shop "relics". Oh my, what a joke! The whole point of a beaten up guitar is the life its had - its history - the story that you could possibly unfold if you dug deep into its past. Dig deep into a reliced guitar and all you will find is what Fender has become - a machine feeding off the wonder of what it once was... in 1962. I am so glad not to be part of the modern day Fender machine - but this antiquity of Rock and Roll history put the hairs up on the back of my arm...

This guitar is immensely rare and to my knowledge Fender no longer produce master built guitars. A master built is a model produced by one person and always one of their most experienced builders. This really does represent the ultimate in Fender Telecasters and is a significant collectors item. All the original documentation, accessories and certification are included - and all immaculate like the day it was sold. We have had the guitar through our own workshop to ensure it is all up to scratch too! It just needs a good home.
