| Description | This was taken against a loan in 1970/5 and was never collected or loan paid. It became my daughter in laws when her 1st husband passed away.Comes with Fender case,tag,booklet,spare strings.There is a receipt from 1975 for spare string.The case and guitar have been stored away since 1970 ish.There is a tiny paint burr on the left horn ,a few light scratches on the rear.Overall it is in excellent condition The Fender Bass V is an unusual model produced by Fender between 1965 and 1970. It was the world's first five string bass guitar, a popular concept today. The Fender Bass V has only 15 frets. The fifth string is a high C, allowing faster technique with the lower frets and five additional notes at the top. This guitar is in a gorgeous red ,with chrome bridge and pickup covers.The serial number is 600290.The Fender site shows there were only 200 FENDER BASS V manufactured between 1965 and1970. |
