We force the advertiser to renew their advert every 45 days. If not renewed the advert is removed from the system. This ensures you only ever see adverts which have been listed or renewed less than 45 days prior to your visit. Most if not all classified sites we have studied DO NOT follow this practice in order to bulk out their sites. It looks impressive on first glance but hugely frustrating if you actually want to buy a guitar! Guitars.co.uk is about quality - not just quantity.

Relevant

We do not allow bulk listings to be added to the site. Every advert has to be listed manually. Why? Dealers often use "bulk uploads" to stick their inventory on sites such as Google Shopping and price comparison sites etc. Effectively this is DUPLICATED information and more importantly it is very often NOT available and even more often the content has been copied and pasted directly from the manufacturers website. None of this is particularly useful for the end user. We encourage our advertisers to place personalised text, upload advert by advert manually and revise the advert every 45 days. This makes the content at Guitars.co.uk personalised and relevant.

We Attract Specialists

If we wanted 1000 guitars on Guitars.co.uk we could do this pretty much overnight. There is always a big dealer wanting to send you an excel spreadsheet with their product files. What would this bring you? A duplicated experience that you could find on a hundred other sites on the internet.
